Alondra Escobar

Senior Vice President

Alondra is a fifth year Ph.D. candidate in the Bioengineering Department at Rice University. She develops imaging and genetic technologies to understand brain behavior in organisms with the simplest nervous systems. Her research focuses in understanding how neural circuits give rise to behavior in small jellyfish. Outside of lab and consulting, she enjoys rowing and attending comedy shows, especially open mics.
