Yingshan is a third year Ph.D. candidate at Texas A&M Institute of Biosciences and Technology. Her research focus is about a retrotransposon called LINE-1 and its role in lung cancer. She has a cat named Kiko and she is an outdoor person. She enjoys hiking and skiing a lot!
