Boxuan is a 2nd year master student at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He's intrigued by lung epithelial cells and complex mechanism of pulmonary disorders. His research interests are in studying the molecular mechanism and pathophysiologic of air way mucin secretion. Currently his project studies the role of vesicle-associated membrane proteins (VAMPs) in disease states such as asthma and cystic fibrosis. In his free time, Boxuan enjoys exploring beautiful destinations in the US with his friends and sailing in the Pacific Ocean.
