Mayuri is the former President of CCTMC (2021-2022) and a sixth-year Ph.D candidate at Baylor College of Medicine and the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute at Texas Children’s Hospital. Her research focuses on the prefrontal cortical influences on feeding behaviors through its connection with the basal forebrain using in-vivo technologies in the mouse nervous system. She is also an actor and scriptwriter for IDEA Lab Kids for their education streaming platform STEAMOnDemand. She has brought her passion for theatre to the consulting club by expanding CCTMC’s agency projects to include education and theatre organizations. Outside of these interests, she enjoys painting with acrylics and cooking up exciting meal
